How we verify doctors

Four distinct statuses

We never merge these levels into a single vague 'verified' badge.

  • Listed — the profile exists but no verification step has been completed.
  • Profile claimed — the practitioner controls the profile through a professional account.
  • Identity verified — we matched the account holder with an official identity document.
  • Licence verified — the declared licence number and authority were checked against the relevant UAE health authority register.

Sources we use

Licence checks rely on the public registers of the UAE health authorities: DHA in Dubai, DoH in Abu Dhabi, MOHAP where competent, or the applicable free-zone authority. Verification evidence is stored internally and never published.

Limits

A verification reflects the state of a register on the date shown as 'last verified'. A licence can be suspended or renewed after that date. Verification is not an endorsement by any authority and is not a judgement on clinical quality.

This page is general information about healthcare services in the UAE. It is not medical advice and does not replace a consultation with a licensed practitioner.
